I'm a worrier. It's my biggest weakness. I can use it as a strength (so I tell myself) so that I can be over-prepared for every situation. And so that I don't ever get caught off guard. But all that worry and anxiety lends to me putting a whole lot of faith and trust in--myself.
Guess what? That worry loop never ends. As soon as I clear worry off the deck for one thing, that just leaves room for the next fret session to set in. I'm working on a new prayer for myself. I'm working on praying for peace that I don't even understand.
Join me in this quick reflection on all the worries and anxieties I (we?) face and how God talks to us in 1 Thessalonians 5 telling us not just to not worry--but to rejoice! In everything.
