When will WestJet resume their flights?

View descriptionShare

Relief is on the way for thousands of WestJet passengers after the airline and the union representing its flight attendants reached a tentative agreement, bringing an end to a strike that disrupted travel over the busy holiday weekend. The deal, which still needs to be ratified by union members, would end the labour dispute that led to hundreds of flight cancellations and affected an estimated 250,000 travellers across Canada. When would the agreement come into force, and what travel delays/reimbursements can travelers expect? John Gradek, Faculty Lecturer of Operations and Integrated Aviation Management at McGill, spoke to Andrew Carter.
