Quebec’s ambitious digital health record system is facing growing concerns just weeks before its planned launch, as Cybersecurity Minister Gilles Bélanger warns that sensitive patient data may not be adequately protected. He says the project is not ready for rollout and raises alarms about the potential exposure of Quebecers’ health information, especially with parts of the system linked to U.S.-based infrastructure.
