The fallout from the SAAQclic disaster is intensifying. A scathing inquiry found senior executives knowingly misled the government about ballooning costs on a digital platform that ended up costing more than $1 billion. A new report from the Montreal Economic Institute compares Quebec directly to Alberta and finds Quebec drivers pay roughly 60 to 65 per cent more for license and registration services, while having access to far fewer service points. Gabriel Giguère, senior policy analyst at the Montreal Economic Institute, spoke to Ken Connors.
