The amount of money lost by fraud victims via text message scam was over $39 million last year. It’s over three times more than in 2022. Now, a new text messaging scam has been going around in the province and it is due to the recent notoriety of SAAQclic. Cybersecurity expert Steve Waterhouse spoke to Andrew Carter.
