After years leading the Old Brewery Mission and advocating for better housing and support for people experiencing homelessness, James Hughes is stepping into politics. He's announced he'll be running for the Quebec Liberal Party in the Vaudreuil riding this fall, saying he wants to help shape policy from inside the National Assembly rather than pushing for change from the outside.
