Emojis have become part of the way many of us communicate. But what about using them at work? Does adding a smiley face to an email or Teams message actually help, or could it make you seem less professional? A new study from the University of Ottawa looked at how people perceive emojis in workplace messages. Erin Courtice, lead author of the study and a postdoctoral researcher at Toronto Metropolitan University, spoke to Andrew Carter.
