By 9:23 a.m. on January 2, Canada’s highest-paid CEOs will have already earned what the average Canadian worker makes in an entire year. That’s according to a new report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, which found that the top 100 CEOs now earn, on average, $16.2 million a year, about 248 times what the typical worker earns.
