As the new school year gets underway, faculty at John Abbott College are protesting what they describe as a toxic work environment. The union says there are serious concerns about communication with the administration, staffing levels and what it calls violations of the collective agreement. The college says it is committed to a respectful workplace and that employee concerns are being handled through the proper processes. Maria Mastorakos, union president of the John Abbott College Faculty Association, spoke to Ken Connors.
