• 10 Cities are now considering reparations to atone for slavery and structural racism, but local governments are at different stages of a process that has stalled at the federal level in most states. According to the Department of Justice, members of a Florida family who claimed they had a "miracle" cure for COVID-19 that contained a toxic bleach were sentenced to federal prison.
• Latto recently visited her alma mater, Lovejoy High School during Homecoming to donate $35,000.
• She also provided the students with food from Wingstop, whom she partnered with back in July for The Latto Meal and Lemon Herb Remix wing flavors. Walgreens pharmacy staffers around the country staged walkouts this week, over work conditions.
• Walgreens has named a new CEO, as pharmacy staff are concerned that working conditions are putting employees and patients at risk.
• Shonda Rhimes is set to executive produce a documentary about the creation & cultural impact of the Original Black Barbie from Mattel. The documentary will stream on Netflix.
