The Cantabrian is racing with the national 4x100 relay team, looking to break the 38.99 national best in tonight's Potts Classic in Hawke's Bay.

Round 2 of the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy is currently taking place in Taupo, following on from an intense race at Hampton Downs.

Czech 20-year-old Jakub Mensik will face seventh-seed Sebastian Baez in the final from 2pm.
