NPC’s 2025 season has gotten underway and the south is gearing up for one of rugby’s most passionate rivalries this weekend. 

Stag Day —as the fixture has become known— sees Otago take on Southland for the opening of their campaigns. Last year Southland came out on top with a 22-13 victory in front of a crowd of over 7000.  

Stags player Scott Gregory joined D’Arcy Waldegrave to discuss the hotly anticipated content and take a look at the team’s focus for the season.
