Sauté a couple of minutes, pour in chicken broth and, with the lid ajar so steam can escape, let it all simmer away until the broth disappears and the beans and onions crisp up. Takes about 20 minutes. Easy to remember — green beans, onions and garlic in bacon grease, simmered in chicken broth.
