The charges stem from Comey’s denial of authorizing leaks to the media, which prosecutors claim is false.
The defense claims the questions were ambiguous and that Comey’s statements were not intentionally deceptive.
The case involves references to Andrew McCabe, Daniel Richman, and Hillary Clinton, with Richman allegedly being the person Comey authorized to leak information.
