Fraudulent Loans to Children:
The Department of Government Oversight (DOGE) discovered that the Small Business Administration (SBA) granted approximately 5,600 loans worth $312 million to borrowers listed as eleven years old or younger1.
These loans were issued over a two-year period (2020-2021) and involved incorrect Social Security numbers1.

Loans to Centenarians:
The SBA also issued over 3,000 loans totaling $333 million to borrowers aged 115 or older1.
One notable case involved a 157-year-old individual receiving $36,000 in loans1.

Fraud Investigation and Accountability:
DOGE is working with the SBA to address these fraudulent loans and ensure accountability1.
The agency aims to uncover the true recipients of the funds and prosecute those involved in the fraud1.

Political and Immigration Issues:
We discuss the arrest of a Syrian radical in New York and the Trump administration's stance on deporting individuals who incite violence or support terrorist organizations1.
The Trump administration has repurposed the CBP One app into a self-deportation app, encouraging illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country1.

In this episode of the 47 Morning Update w Ben Ferguson, Ben examines the growing political battle surrounding Abdul El-Sayed’s Senate campaign, Mike Rogers’ accusations regarding campaign donors and family associations, media coverage of the controversy, and newly highlighted social media posts attributed to El-Sayed’s half-sister. They discuss how the issue could affect one of the country’s most closely watched Senate races, debate questions surrounding transparency and political judgment, and analyze the broader implications for national politics and voter perceptions heading into the midterm elections.

A new controversy has emerged in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race after Republican candidate Mike Rogers intensified attacks on Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed over alleged ties involving family members, political donors, and organizations Rogers associates with the Muslim Brotherhood and other extremist-linked groups. The dispute escalated following a debate between the two candidates, where Rogers challenged El-Sayed over campaign funding and alleged associations. El-Sayed has publicly denied that he or his family have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and has argued that criticisms of him are rooted in attacks on his faith and background.

Allegations involving campaign donations and donor affiliations
El-Sayed’s denial of family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood
Social media posts attributed to El-Sayed’s half-sister

In this episode of the 47 Morning Update w Ben Ferguson, Ben examines the whistleblower allegations surrounding the federal investigation known as Arctic Frost, the expansion from thousands of donor records to claims involving hundreds of thousands of individuals, and the broader debate over whether government investigators exceeded appropriate boundaries while pursuing matters related to the 2020 election and Donald Trump. They discuss constitutional concerns, donor privacy, political participation, and the questions they believe the Department of Justice should answer regarding the collection and handling of these records.

New allegations from Chuck Grassley contend that records tied to at least 639,000 Republican donors, voters, and supporters were obtained during the federal investigation connected to Donald Trump. The claim raises questions about the scope of government subpoena powers, political privacy, and how donor information was collected and used. The controversy centers on whistleblower information highlighted by Grassley, who argues that investigators gathered data extending far beyond individuals directly connected to the case. According to the discussion, the records allegedly included donor information, personal identifying details, political contribution histories, and information related to campaign merchandise purchases.

Topics Covered:
Chuck Grassley's disclosure of whistleblower allegations involving at least 639,000 Republican donors and supporters.
The FBI investigation known as Arctic Frost and its connection to the special counsel investigation led by Jack Smith.
Claims that donor records, contribution histories, and personal information were obtained through subpoenas.
Questions about the collection of information related to Trump campaign merchandise purchases.
Debate over whether records dating back to 2005 were relevant to an investigation focused on the 2020 election.
Concerns about political privacy, government transparency, and First Amendment participation in the political process.
