A Relationship with God Will Change Complaining into Thanksgiving

View descriptionShare

Complaining is not a good look. Just ask my mom. I thought I was right and my mom was wrong until I was around 25. I would always challenge her and grumbled when I didn't get my way. Then something clicked --- I grew up. I realized she’s right aaallll the time! And now I can't stop praising my mom. She’s a school nurse and I am so proud. I have a relationship with her, I trust her wisdom, she’s taught me so much, and I’ve walked through life with her…. It’s easy for me to praise her. She’s the best school nurse I know. I am thankful for her. Do you want a thankful spirit? Walk with Christ Jesus. Find your identity in Him and be established in the faith ---- then you’ll look at your life and say to yourself wow I am just so thankful.  That's straight from Colossians 2:6-7, "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Complaining is challenging God, lament is crying out to God, because you have faith in Him. There’s a difference. Being thankful is looking at your life and seeing how much walking with Jesus has changed you.
