The Oscar-nominated Netflix documentary, All the Empty Rooms, follows CBS News correspondent Steve Hartman and photographer Lou Bopp as they visit families who have preserved the bedrooms of their children killed in school shootings. From unmade beds to uncapped toothpaste, these rooms have been left exactly as they were. This is a very hard conversation to have but such an important one because we must bear witness to the permanent and painful reality far too many communities and families face across the country.
You can follow Steve Hartman @stevehartmancbs on Instagram, watch “All the Empty Rooms” on Netflix, and check out his regular series, “On the Road,” on CBS.
