The Pathways to Politics for women, a free leadership program at CDU is now going into its second year – Greg caught up with Kate McFarlane, the program co-ordinator to talk about the role this course plays in increasing women's representation in all levels of government.

Applications to enter the program close on May 31, 2023 and the course kicks off in Darwin from September 11-15, 2023.

Peter Apaak Jupurrula Miller, a proud Aboriginal man who has fought for land rights and devoted much of his life to teaching and help make the Barunga Festival what it is today!

Jarah Maraschio is the new CEO of the Bagala  Aboriginal Corp 

Both came in "live" to talk about the launch of this amazing event. And to give us the low-down on battle of the bands!

Eli Murn had been an aspiring Olympian, dreaming of representing Australia in volleyball.

That changed in 2004 when he got behind the wheel, with his girlfriend in the passenger seat, and crashed his car while driving under the influence.

Eli is in Darwin from March 26 for STREET SMART HIGH 2026 to talk to school students.

Street Smart High is an annual road safety education event which aims to reduce the territory’s shocking youth road trauma. The program provides students with first-hand experiences and educates them about their responsibilities as drivers and responsible passengers. It provides information and strategies to avoid serious injuries and death, and highlights the consequences of distracted driving, not wearing a seat belt, speeding, drink and drug driving.

Katherine Webber is a practitioner in social planning and community development. She is also a International Toilet Enthusiast/Researcher. Katherine is involved with The Great Dunny Hunt!

Katherine was awarded the 2018 Rodney Warmington Churchill Fellowship to increase inclusion and accessibility in public toilets by researching taboos, design, policy and legal barriers.

Katherine called into Matt to talk shop on all things toilet hunting!
