Once a merchant sold a big fleet of Arabian horses to King Krishnadev to strengthen his army. Since he didn't have a stable large enough to keep the horses, King Krishnadev tasked all his courtiers to look after an Arabian horse each in lieu of payment of a gold coin. But Arabian horses had huge maintenance and poor courtiers struggled to look after the horses in this much amount. But Tenali Ram was quite comfortable and his reason was good learning for everyone in the court, including King Krishnadev.
