She hasn't taken a traditional path to arrive as a coder; she secured her first professional job via RailsGirls; she's been presenting around the world, despite only working professionally for under 2 years; and she's an active advocate for workplace inclusion. Techwomentalkingg - a podcast talking to changemakers - women (& men) working across the breadth of the Australian IT industry; hearing their stories about creating positive change. 
Things are improving for women but the key indicators are whispering rather than shouting the change - and that’s what we want to talk about. How various people that we know and that we’ll meet along our journey are choosing to face into these facts and how individuals are choosing to respond today, rather than waiting for longterm, government-led systemic change. We chat about the large and small changes they've influenced in their workplaces or domains of expertise. We also talk about future aspirations, & discuss views on the current state of the industry, including diversity.
