We're so pleased to be bringing you this episode today. It's full of insight, experience and personal stories of the amazing Arrente woman, Midwife and Mother Cherrisse Buzzacott. We explored the difficulties Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people training to be midwives face and the work Cherisse does to support this. We talked about the maternal care system and how this fails the needs of our Indigenous women and mothers, as well as Cherisse's personal career, pregnancy experiences and incredibly raw, honest and brave birth stories. It was a hugely insightful and informative discussion and Cherisse was the most warm and friendly person, we absolutely loved connecting with her and we think you will too.
