Tony discusses a recent Aruba announcement that has revealed how digital technologies are being used to unlock the potential of modern offices. & the technologies that are driving modern workplaces as well as how employees feel about the digital changes. 

Aruba has found that 54% of Australians surveyed agree that if not managed correctly, creating a digital office by introducing of new technologies could be damaging employee morale. By the same token however, most respondents said that creating these smart office spaces would result in a more efficient (70%), more collaborative (59%) and more innovative (64%) work environment. Ultimately, 60% of those surveyed believe that using digital technology at work helps make their job easier. Continued advancements in digital technology and automation pave the way for better workplace experiences: While automation can be perceived as a threat to job security, our research found that there was widespread enthusiasm for it. 71% of respondents said they would welcome a fully automated workplace in the future, allowing organizations to build smarter, more effective working environments.

Tony is also a Member of the Army Reserve consulting to the Australian Defence College and Royal Military College in the establishment of learning management systems to allow more efficient and greater scale of delivery of training courses via online systems, to compliment classroom and field based education.
