Dr. Sharma was an early innovator in the field of quantum cybersecurity, researching its potential at Stanford University and ANU before founding the company in Canberra in 2008. Since then, QuintessenceLabs has grown to be a global industry leader, following in the footsteps of Atlassian and Google being recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer. Last year, Dr Sharma attended the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of New Champions in Tianjin, China, the foremost global summit on innovation, science and technology.
