A true music legend is on Talkin' Rock with Meltdown today. Desmond Child has written hit songs with/for some of the biggest music acts in history.

We discuss how he melds pop and rock together with such success. He tells me how he wrote the mega-hit "You Give Love A Bad Name". He talks about working with Aerosmith and bringing their career back from the dead, and a funny story about "Dude Looks Like A Lady".  I had to ask him about writing the song "I Was Made For Loving You" from KISS and he told me how one of the guys wasn't a fan of the song. He gives me his thoughts on the music scene today, how Detroit has played into his musical past and the key to his success.
