It's another two-fer on today's Talkin' Rock podcast.....

First up, it's drummer Sean Dowdell from the band Grey Daze. That was Chester Bennington's first band, before joining Linkin Park. Sean talks about the start of the band, when they parted ways & got back together, first, as business partners, then as band mates. He recalls where he was when he heard the news of Chester's passing. He tells me about the special guests that appear on the upcoming album. 

Micheal 'Whip' Wilton from Queensryche rounds out this episode around 11:51. The band is currently out on tour with John 5 going across the country. He talks about the busy 2020 they have, which includes a Vegas residency with the Scorpions in July. I had to ask him about that awesome "Empire" tour they did, doing "Operation Mindcrime" in its entirety. We talk prog rock, teh Rock Hall, and the passing of the legendary Neil Peart. What he was doing when he found out as well as meeting the guys in Rush. He also tells me about them playing the upcoming KISS Kruise. What other jobs did he have? He tells me that and how supportive his parents were and his love of vinyl.
