Chattanooga will add more than 1,200 hotel rooms in the coming month…right now There are around 11,500 hotel rooms in Hamilton County, The new additions will increase the stock by more than 10%. Visitor spending in the county reached a record $1.8 billion last year a 4% increase from the year before, placing it at No. 5 among 95 Tennessee counties.and visitors will be in those beds this week as they come to the city  to watch the annual BlueCross Bowl state championships at finley stadium,..welcome  Barry White, CEO of the Chattanooga Tourism Co.

The city lost an incredible and very giving businessman this week. Chattanooga Funeral Home President Gene Pike died at the age of 87….. Mr. Pike had been with this company for 67 years and has buried some of our cities most prominent leaders. His claim to fame however, he buried Elvis. Well no one knew him better than our great friend and radio legend earl fredenberg.
