Out of Nashville A new bill looks to update the current Tennessee law regarding the abandonment of animals. The new terms of the bill would now make it a criminal offense for a pet owner to abandon their animal. Right now in the state it’s hard to prosecute owners. We say good morning to Jennie Van Ausdal the Animal Services Supervisor at the East Ridge Animal Services & Shelter who says she sees dogs and cats left to fend for themselves all the time.

A recent article in the Chattanooga times free press by writer mark Kennedy talked about a new Netflix series called adolescence….a british crime drams about a 13 year old boy accused of killing a female classmate who may have bullied him..it’s not a true story but it does feel like this scenario could happen anywhere…..the show looks at how social media and bullying is real and how the use of things like emojis can be deadly……we welcome from utc doctor Elizabeth O’Brien, from the school’s Counselor of Education area.
