Every year there’s a huge citywide  Thanksgiving luncheon ….a table is set up on a downtopwn street that features a free meal…it’s all about bringing strangers and friends together to share a table, build understanding, and strengthen community ties. This is happening in cities all over the country as we welcome volunteer  Andrew Scarbrough, you know it sounds like a hallmark card but I think the one word that needs to be used a lot at thanksgiving this year is united. there’s just seems to be no personal responsibility anymore; and a lack of civic mindedness,”
