Can Employers Mandate the COVID-19 vaccine? It's Complicated.

With news that the Food and Drug Administration has issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for the first COVID-19 vaccine, some employees might wonder: can my employer require me to take it? According to Berkeley Law Professor Dorit Reiss, employers can, in many situations, require employees take a vaccine, but this time around that EUA situation provides a little wrinkle. Reiss explains. She's also a member of The Vaccine Working Group on Ethics and Policy.
