Incumbent Mayor Lori Lightfoot talks with Bill about the recent student recruitment scandal created by one of her campaign workers and what repercussions might happen in the aftermath.  Is it just clumsy staff work, and did it actually happen once before?  Lightfoot addresses crime and her quest for a "Lasting Peace" in the city.  The mayor comments about the recent voter survey which ranked her in 4th place, behind challengers Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, Brandon Johnson, and Paul Vallas.  Lightfoot also addresses the upcoming changes to the makeup of the CPS school board and the recent announcement of a re-imagined Soldier Field and adjacent museum campus which the mayor hopes will keep the Chicago Bears in the city.
