It's been over a week since the NFL's open negotiation period began and the Commanders have signed one outside free agent. There are still several months before the season begins but we can't help but wonder, why have the Commanders been so inactive in free agency?

The Commanders traded a 2022 3rd, 2023 3rd (with potential to become a 2nd) and swapped 2022 2nds for a QB Carson Wentz and his $28.5M cap number. At first glance, this is not a good trade for the Commanders. Only time will tell if they made the right decision.

After a few weeks off, we're back with a new look and a fresh false sense of hope that QBX will be found this offseason. We go through the different options and discuss what we think the Commanders will do.
