For almost 40 years, Susie Orbach, psychotherapist and author, has been opening our eyes about body image and society. Her insightful Fat is a Feminist Issue rings even more true now than at its publication in 1978. The same can be said of her 2009 book Bodies. In an interview with Caroline Baum, Susie talks about body image in today’s society, where selfies are king, retouching is the norm, and the idea of perfection is as narrow as ever.
