Rapid and unpredictable transformations in technology, social interaction, work and medicine are deepening racial and social inequality and stymying efforts to develop equitable solutions. To grapple with this dizzying change, the country’s largest health foundation decided to embed futurists-in-residence in its Pioneering Ideas for an Equitable Future team. Led by program director Lori Melichar, two recent futurists will explore trends related to health equity, reflect on lessons learned from grantees and obstacles along the way, and convince you to adopt futures thinking in your own work.
