For low and middle income countries, economic and social development is challenged by scarce resources, a dearth of skilled workers, and, often, pervasive inequality.  However, several countries have made rapid progress through dramatic improvements in education outcomes.  By combining technology interventions, evidence-based innovations, and a commitment to inclusive education, these countries have taken bold steps to improve education and elevate communities of marginalized learners.
