The Estimule a Empatia Project demonstrates that it is possible to bring current and critical topics into the classroom, with a multidisciplinary activity was proposed, engaging students to reflect on and discuss the causes and consequences of hunger. Thanks to this activity, student involvement resulted in donating 100,000 meals to the NGO Ação da Cidadania, proving that classrooms can shape individuals who take action to build a better world.
