Tampons, sports, and the creator economy - on the surface they have little in common, but they are all produced by men for the benefit of men, while women deal with the consequences. Tampons are manufactured by men, for women. Women's sports are not “less popular” than male sports, but receive far less airtime and funding. The creator economy intended to put more power in the hands of creators, but that isn’t how it has played out.
