Parts of Queensland are predicted to swelter this weekend, giving residents an early taste of summer.

For more, Liam Bland reports.

Saw someris weather alert now. Parts of Queensland are predicted to swelter this weekend, giving residents an early taste of summer. Lave to Liam Bland, who's on the Gold Coast our, Liam, not a bad weekend to head to the beach. It looks.

Oh mon, there'll be nowhere better except maybe inside in the air coorn and that's because top temps have up to forty degrees are tip to hit some parts of the state over the next week. A hot air mass is set to cover Australia in the coming days, and that means Saturday and Sunday are the days the Sunshine State will start to swelter, according to new modeling from weather Zone. That's off the back of a Weather Bureau report earlier in October which predicts we could be in for one of our hottest summers on record in Australia. Things will stay slightly cooler in the state's capital, although cooler is still probably an understatement. A top temp of thirty degrees tip for Brisbane over the next week, but more with beaches like this right up and down Queensland's coastline, I'm sure we'll manage well.

That is true. All right, we won't feel too bad. Thanks very much, Liam,
