There are fears that supermarket shelves are at risk of running empty and prices could spike due to a critical shortage of truck drivers. A new survey has revealed over 26000 positions remain unfilled this year resulting in a 14% workforce shortfall. What's worse is that half of all drivers are aged over 55 meaning many of them are nearing retirement age.
