QLD Police Union CEO on government's plan to overhaul youth sentencing laws

View descriptionShare

The Queensland Government's plan to overhaul youth sentencing laws is copping backlash from all sides. Premier Steven Miles has declared he'll axe the sentencing principle of "detention as a last resort" for children. And one social welfare group has even labelled the move a "desperate grasp for power."

For more, I'm joined by Queensland Police Union CEO Ian Leavers.
