Outback Queensland faces another wave of heavy rain threatening northern and western regions, just weeks after catastrophic downpours. Cloncurry has already received double its annual rainfall of 400-500mm, with highways cut and fresh food supplies unable to reach isolated communities. The developing low pressure system poses risks of further town isolation, stranded travelers and livestock losses across the already saturated region.
