The serns are growing for Melbourne's health system this morning as ambulance ramping continues to plague the city. Let's goal as a teaken dolling in Melbourne taken morning to you. Some patients are facing hours of waiting over this.

They are edie. This is a huge issue that we've seen in the last twenty four hours at a number of hospitals across Melbourne, in particular the Sunshine Hospital here behind me. We saw ambulances ramping here yesterday afternoon and well into the evenings, some here for hours on end. Box Hill Hospital and the hospital down in Geelong they had very similar issues. They were all brought to a stand still, meaning that they're unable to go out and treat any new patients. Now we're know. At the same time the ambulance Victoria paramedics are also launching industrial action and what they're doing when they're ramping is they're actually putting their lights on to alert the public that they have been here for more than forty minutes. That is just such a long time to be sitting in a queue. We have reached out to the hospitals to try and work out exactly why this ramping was occurring yesterday. We're still not yet to hear back, but obviously we know Eddie that this often occurs because the hospitals are at capacity.
