A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed during a violent brawl at a house party in Shalvey, Sydney's west. The incident occurred shortly after 10pm when approximately 40 people were involved in a fight on a driveway. Police riot squad and dog unit were deployed to control the crowd, and investigations are ongoing with no arrests made.

Seven men have been charged over an alleged $8 million international car theft operation in Brisbane that targeted Toyota vehicles. The syndicate allegedly stole approximately 60 Toyota Land Cruisers, Prados and RAV4s over six weeks using a hacking device that drills into vehicles to disable security systems. Police allege the stolen cars were shipped to the United Arab Emirates hidden in shipping containers, with the men facing almost 400 charges.
