The Hawthorn racism saga is set to head to court after mediation in the Human Rights Commission broke down. The club and former First Nations players and their partners failed to reach a deal with the commission's view the parties were too far apart. Cyril Rioli and other ex-players now have 60 days to file and take the matter to the Federal Court with sources saying they intend to initiate those proceedings.
