A suppression order that prevented media from naming Silvani has been lifted after months of legal challenges, with the family spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal representation to keep his identity secret.

Three teenagers have been arrested following a violent brawl in the food court of Broadway shopping centre in Glebe. The incident involved a gang of young people attacking another teenager, throwing chairs during the altercation with one chair falling to the ground floor and narrowly missing shoppers below. Two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old have been charged with affray and refused bail, appearing in court today.
