Former Prince Andrew arrested over Epstein emails

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York and brother of King Charles III, has been arrested and questioned by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office before being released. The investigation centres on allegations that he forwarded classified government emails about trade visits and business opportunities to Jeffrey Epstein within minutes of receiving them in 2011, whilst serving as the UK's trade envoy. This marks the first arrest of a British royal in 400 years, with nine UK police forces now investigating various allegations against the former prince.
