A 30-year-old e-bike rider, believed to be a delivery driver, was killed after colliding with a garbage truck at the intersection of George Street and Little Regent Street in Ultimo, Sydney CBD around 6am. The crash occurred near Central Station in one of Sydney's busiest areas, causing major traffic disruptions with George Street westbound completely locked down. Police crash scene investigators and detectives are examining the scene of the fatal accident.
