Imagine going to the beach not putting on sunscreen and getting a terrible sunburn on purpose. Doesn't seem too smart.. right?

For more, Tamra Bow reports.

The alarming trend is sweeping social media with Ossie's going to the beach and getting sunburnt on purpose Live too, Tamera bo on the Gold Coast, Tamera, why are they doing this?

Oh, teag And I think we're all a little bit guilty of getting too much sun every now and then, but this is taking it to a whole other level. And gen z is predominantly the one that is throwing its weight behind its alarming you trend that is escalating online. It's basically where they intentionally burn those string bikini marks into their neck. We've got instagrammers, Tiktoker's influencers who are predominantly throwing their weight behind it and uploading their antics online. There's one hashtag sunburnt tan lines that already has more than two hundred million views there and this is understandably angered the Cancer Council that says there is no way you should ever be promoting tanning in the first place. They're also concerned about apps that are being downloaded as well, where you upload a photo and AI tells you how to get those so called perfect tan lines as well. Every year, more than one million authis front up to the GP to get cancer's cut out, and it is a real drain on our healthcare system and teaken at this stage, there's just real concerns that somehow that unsafety message is slipping through the cracks with that next generation.

Yeah, absolutely, okay, thanks Tamera. Well sticking on social media, have you ever wondered if endless scrolling is bad for your health? Well you can stop here, David, with doctors.

Warning there too much scrolling can practically rot your brain. Brain rot was chosen by the Oxford University Press. Research has shown that doom scrolling, which is endless viewing of meaningless content or really fun whoever you ask, I'm not sure, can deteriorate your intellectual states. So when your partner tells you put your phone away, listen to them. It's on the doctor's orders. But I think I'm doomed. I might not live past thirty four.

I think I do.

A lot of endless makes it a little ye serious, isn't it very serious?

Actually bought this year box that you can lock your phone into and then you can't get it out. Obviously it's for you, obviously, not the king, just for me. Someone's like, what, yeah, you know, strict measures had to be taken
