Dale Marthick was born in Smithton, Tasmania and grew up there. His family was never involved in church, so Dale grew up with no understanding about God and faith. As a teen, he became involved in drugs and suffered depression. However, Dale was radically saved at seventeen and headed off to Bible College in Sydney a year later.
After completing his studies, Dale moved back to Tassie and started his own business in horticulture (strawberries and lettuce), before getting into church leadership as a youth pastor. When he was 35, Dale moved his family to Sydney to plant a church. Today he serves with New Covenant Ministries International, helping local churches equip and mobilise believers for the fulfilment of the work of the Kingdom and the discipling of the nations.
