John R Lott, Jr., Ph.D. President of the Crime Prevention Research Center – Another California gun law has been blocked by the courts. The law requires newly sold handguns to include equipment that lets the owner know if the gun is loaded and allows police to trace cartridges from crime scenes.  The judge said these regulations are having a devastating impact on Californian’s ability to buy and use new state-of-the-art handguns.
