Shed Happens is an organisation set up to encourage men in Australia to be better husbands, fathers, mates, employers and employees.

It was founded by the late Ian 'Watto' Watson, whose core principle was "I've never seen a bloke go backwards with encouragement”.  

Vern Wilson is a committee member with Shed Happens, and joined Alex Milne to talk about how the organisation supports and encourages men from all round Australia.

On July 21st 2026, Canadian worship songwriter Brian Doerksen lost his battle with cancer.

Brian was one of the defining worship songwriters of the 1990s and 2000s, particularly through the Vineyard movement. While he recorded many of his own songs, his greatest impact came because churches around the world sang them—often without realising he had written them.

He was most well known for the songs 'Come, Now is the Time to Worship' - his signature song which became one of the most-used worship songs globally during the late 1990s and early 2000s, and 'Refiner's Fire', one of the best-known songs to come out of the Vineyard movement.

Tribute to Worship Songwriter Brian Doerksen

Anglican Bishop John Roundhill has created a tradition over the last six Easters, walking all across south-east Queensland during Holy Week.

This year Bishop Roundhill is walking from Brisbane to Southport, stopping at churches and schools along the route.

He is inviting other walkers and pilgrims to join him and reflect on this special time of the year.
